Bobcat of Hamilton is seeking a Parts Advisor for our back parts counter! The ideal candidate must have a commitment to customer service excellence, can adapt to a fluid, fast-paced work environment and have a demonstrated ability to be a team player. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians in selecting, quoting, and billing required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
- Provides the service advisor with ETA’s on all special-order parts.
- Pulls parts for technician making sure all orders are tagged with technician’s name and job number.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Shipping and receiving
- Maintaining organization of parts stock room and work area
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- 1-3 years of previous customer service experience.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Minimum OSSD or equivalent (GED). Technical certification from a recognized post-secondary institution would be an asset.
- Knowledge of construction/landscaping equipment is a definite asset.
- Proven track record of effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to undertake necessary training requirements.
- Hard working, dedicated individual with a strong work ethic.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8A.M. to 5 P.M – No Weekends!
